Events

The training will be an update on lead free laws as they pertain to the valve industry and include the following topics:

•          We will recap changes that were made to the Safe Drinking Water Act over 8 years ago
•          Regulation enforcement
•          Testing and Design Standards created specifically for Lead-Free valves
•          Materials of Construction that are typically used in manufacturing valves
•          How to identify lead-free products that carry 3rd Party Certifications

The training will serve as a refresher for those who lived through the transition in January 2014, help to train those who are new to the industry and offer guidance with any interpretation issues that may still exist today.
